A Note About Our Commitment to Our Community
Our mission is to amplify the creative work and projects of our community through the art of design and print-making. Our team believes we have a responsibility to work introspectively, personally, and at the community level to fight racism, state violence, and other systems of oppression and inequality.
We commit to listening to our BIPOC collaborators and community and using our privilege and platform to amplify the voices and projects of others who have been historically silenced. We commit to identifying our personal, business, non-profit, and neighborhood resources, reviewing our goals, receiving and giving support so we have the capacity to do the work that must be done.
Anger can show us what is violated, what is valued, and where boundaries have been crossed. For those of us who feel guilt, it can show us where we want to make a change, or where the pain we’ve caused calls for new action. On a personal level, we have work to do, and we seek to work towards positive change in ourselves so we may show up more fully as friends, co-workers, and allies to our community and people working towards justice and equality.
